Frame engaging rubber padded truck adapters with multiple extensions to raise most vehicles on the road today. Includes four (each) adapter extensions at 3.5″ and 5″. Spot-Rite™ 3-Stage Front Arms to accommodate vehicles both symmetrically and asymmetrically. This feature allows the technician to position the vehicle doors in front of or behind the column to prevent door damage.

Is the SmartAligner a 4 wheel alignment system?

Yes, this is a complete 4 wheel aligner capable of extremely accurate measurements of all required alignment angles.

What is CCD technology?

The SmartAligner makes use of infra red CCD camera technology. This technology first appeared in wheel aligners at about the same time that 3D technology first appeared. CCD is a very good solution for wheel aligners and is an important technology for RAV who has continued to invest heavily in it, further developing and improving the technology.

What are the advantages of CCD over 3D?

• CCD is extremely accurate…at least as accurate as 3D
• CCD can be easily calibrated even by the operator…3D requires a factory service person.
• CCD replacement parts are generally less expensive.
• CCD machines are usually less expensive to buy and to maintain.
• CCD machines are much more portable, more versatile, and therefore more productive.
